This week, there were a few teams that had multiple players with neck and back injuries. There were a few returning players this week, as well. Let’s take a look at this week’s injury report.

Carolina Panthers – Josh Norman (Cornerback) – After sustaining a concussion during Week 5 and missing last week’s game, Norman was once again out for Week 7.
Cleveland Browns – K’Waun Williams (Cornerback) – Williams missed the Browns’ Week 7 due to a concussion he sustained last week.

New England Patriots – Bryan Stork (Center) – Like his teammate Dan Connolly, Stork also missed the Thursday night game due to a concussion. The Patriots don’t play again until next weekend, so Stork and Connolly have some extra time to recover.

San Diego Chargers – Brandon Flowers (Cornerback) – Flowers left Sunday’s game against the Chiefs early in the second quarter to be checked for a concussion. Although he returned for one more drive, he left the field before the drive was complete and did not return for the rest of the game. Flowers had recently returned from a groin injury.

Carolina Panthers – Kelvin Benjamin (Wide Receiver) – No reports surfaced initially, but Benjamin suffered a concussion during last week’s game. He underwent testing after he reported getting headaches. He did pass the concussion test and began practicing Friday, and was active for Sunday’s game, during which he caught 3 passes for 61 yards and a touchdown.
Washington Redskins – David Amerson (Cornerback) – Amerson was able to return after suffering from a concussion during last week’s game.

However, during suffered cervical strain during the first half of Sunday’s game and missed the remainder of the game.
Returning from Neck Injuries
Chicago Bears – D.J. Williams (Linebacker) – Williams returned for Sunday’s game after missing the past two due to a neck injury. However, Williams’ return did not help the team much, as they lost to the Miami Dolphins.
Green Bay Packers – Jamari Lattimore (Linebacker) – Lattimore left last week’s game with a neck injury, but was able to return this week for the Packers’ victory against the Carolina Panthers.
